Responsibilities
– All golf course maintenance, including; mowing, cultural turf practices, fertilizer and pesticide applications, irrigation, personnel management, purchasing and irrigation.
– Clay tennis court maintenance
– Responsible for the financial results and quality standards of the operation
Achievements
– Prepared the golf course to WVGA standards for the 2008 West Virginia Open
– Raised quality standards of golf course by preparing the course in championship standards daily
– Supervised construction and grow-in of the following: USGA green, course bunkers, practice range target greens, the enlargement of two tee complexes and a fairway re-sodding (row planted Bermuda-grass)
– Supervised the installation and upgrade of a Toro irrigation system and Flowtronex pump station (project was under budget and completed on-time)
